Khao Yai Art Forest invites you to lean in and embrace the “pulse of trees” at the world-class interactive installation ‘Pulsus Vitae’. Created by Scenocosme of famous French artists Grégory Lasserre and Anaïs met den Ancxt, this art event brings visitors on a journey to explore the blurred boundary between technology and nature.
“Pulsus Vitae” encourages a return to inner calm through physical connection between humans and trees. The artists present the tree as a metaphor for the human body, with the textures of its bark evoking a profound sense of intimacy with other living beings. By placing an “ear” against or gently touching the tree, visitors can perceive vibratory sounds and the pulse of lives—creating a subtle bond that reflects both the fragility and awareness of one’s own life.
Scenocosme is celebrated for its interactive installations, in which the artists masterfully conceal complex technologies within natural elements such as trees, plants, and skin. Their work therefore stands out as “living art,” capable of transforming and responding to audience interaction, creating shared immersive experiences.
